Another tip that i found very helpful was to do situps whilst holding a 10kg weight on my chest. At first i did this a couple of times a week and my 'standard' situps improved very quickly. Just so you know swinging your arms forward during a sit-up isn't employing explosive power it's using the momentum of your arms to make the sit-up action easier. Doing this will definately get you pinged on POC

My farther has tinnitus aswell and infact i know someone who takes Ginko for their memory. I did some research on the internet for any remedy to help surpress the effects of tinnitus and found that Ginko has helped in many cases.

Google tinnitus and Ginko Biloba and see what you come up with

No offence mate but i think your contradicting yourself,

You say that you can manage 8:30 easily but die afterwards. If you die afterwards you surely shouldnt have found running an 8:30 easy! i.e. if you die afterwards you would have found the run hard.

Also, if you do find it easy then your not ...

I can do the PJFT on the treadmill in 8.30 so i'm not worried about that, just the upper body which I suck at. I'm a farking fat bastard
If your a "farking fat bastard" how do you manage 8:30 even on a treadmill?

got my POC on the 12th June, that IS the last for this years intake
I spoke to AIB and have a provisional place on the June 19th POC. They assured me that this was the last POC for this years intake.
