A few of the Ex may have different names, the AFCO has a booklet that gives you a breakdown of the 14 or so months in comparison with the 32 week course.

You get a second chance, if you fail twice you are sent to your second choice Regiment as selected for the RCB, assuming they want you of course.

If you have a job, it's usually printed on wage slips, P45 and your P60 if you have one.

gt1980, I would personally double check, perhaps with your AFCO. As people have said on here, many are not even asked about finances. I was under the impression that the only mention is about bankruptcy on the security clearance form.

Not sure if RM is included in that, or how accurate/old it is, but I very much doubt they are under much threat of attack if anyone is out there.

I have no doubt that when you pass out in RMR you're as capable as a reg, ultimately you are trained to carry out the same job.

They do stress the fact that reserves are held as equal to the regs, all part of one big family etc
