Just to say thanks for the help, meeting went excellently and I'm back on the straight and narrow.

Apparently I never was off the thin blue line, but he likes that I care so much. Good reference now!

I was told by another source that since I asked for the meeting, it is classed as informal. As that, I should just walk in.

I take it that that's all rubbish then?

I know I may be going a bit OTT, but simply I want to get everything right.

Depends on how long you are committed to serving. I'd say go in the RN but then again if it is a thing you only want to do for a year or so, I'd say no to both.

You could achieve alot within the RN but it is down to you and what you fully want. Coming out as a Civvy I'd say as a full RN officer ...

And I have a few questions!

I've almost finished an aerospace degree, and wish to join the FAA, and become an officer. I joined the RNR a few months back. I wanted to get some experience and get a bit of a Naval mindset, and generally I thought it would give me a better outlook.

Hey russian! Im in watford. I dont know of any hills in Herts, its a flat area TBH. though if you fancy running, Id go with your local park. We've got cassiobury park that I use. I need a decent pair of boots as well, but for the mo im using trainers on tarmac.

I know I should avoid hard surfaces ...

Just to say thanks for the advice so far, I can inform you (not that you care:D) that I passed the naval RT test yesterday with no bother. Whoever told me it wasnt hard was right.
