Yep, I can see where you are coming from. I left training two years ago because of the same reasons, with the heavy time commitment, and having an understanding how busy the Corps life would be. I felt I needed more time before I can commit to something so important.

i think BMI is pretty worthless. You dont need it.
Use a mirror, it will be your best guide.
stick too a calorie deficit, Train hard, Structure most your carbs around breakfast, pre workout, and post workout, Make sure your caloric intake is not too high, and you shouldnt have a problem.

i thought that was relevant when i read the post title, Gaining weight :) .
its common sense, you can not have high levels of endurance by doing bench press, nor does the squat make you run 10 miles efficiently!

in regards too supersets/dropsets on muscle groups and cardiovascular endurance, Hitting muscle groups seperately is a good way too promote the growth of lean muscle tissue. got to admit im well chuffed i applied as soon as possible,i would have been pi**ed if i choose a later date, and training couldnt be better, them guys at the running club are disgustingly fit...

lol i am real lucky, i picked back up my training the weekend after prmc and have been going at it hard since, my fitness is a lot better than it was on prmc, lucky i filled the booklet in lol, i was told yeah ur meant to take it up with u, pyshical instructor of the troop or something will check it ...

theres a rope you climb on the assault course, you grip hold of it and walk up the wall, when u get too the top uve got to put the rope down properly for the next man, well if u dont then the next man trying to get up aint got no rope :)

well lads who has the big date too..... pretty shitty if you ask me being 5 weeks away but i guess itl be here soon.....
got to start swimming twice a week from now on too.... dont want to get me farkn ass handed too me on that swimming test in recruit training.....anybody else worrying about it too ...

lol yep, i used to be a drummer, was into reading music and all bigtime, i somewhat came out of all that tho when i began getting into fitness, a pitty really as i was getting into a lot of jazz and stuff, a lot of you oldies here may know about the old jazz :)
