I have recently been on the RAF careers website and a lot of trades are in urgent need of personnel, included RAF Regiment Gunners, Weapons Crewman and even a few of the officer positions. I’m guessing this is a simple admin cock up because it seems the RAF are in need of quite a few applicants at ...

Ok thanks, I’ve just found out you have to be educated to a university level, i.e. have the appropriate grades and points to be accepted onto a degree course.

Cheers

UCAS points.

I noticed the requirement for an Army officer was 140 points and 5 GCSE's grade A-C. Currently I have the GCSE's and can gain that amount of points if I hit my predicted grades for my AS levels. Does the Army require both AS and A2's or are you good to go if you have gained the required amount of ...

This is a complete insult to the men and women who have risked their lives in the line of duty. What the hell does he get out of it all. This is an example of one extremely sad and somewhat messed up man.

When do the Rifles actually come into active service? I heard 2007 but I'm not sure to be honest. And would their Commando course be exactly the same as the RM's? Im all a bit hazy on this kind of stuff.

Cheers.

Thanks a lot. I’m fine for now as the website seems to have a fair bit of info. I’m looking to do a course in after my final exams (may/june), which gives me some time to sort things out with school/work and make sure I'm fit for it. There are many courses available so I shouldn’t have a problem. I ...
