For the test bit, I did a 2 week driving course during a leave period, though I know alot of people learn on base; I see driving schools cars waiting at the main gate all the time. As for the A3. Think logically. You live in Leeds and most likely will be based in Plymouth or Faslane, which you're sp...

I did 8 weeks basic in the Navy and didn't get any time off. Quite a few people got homesick I must say. If it's anything like us, we can go home most weekends. Set off on a Friday afternoon and have to be back by Monday morning (so usually a Sunday night thing). Also, you get 7 weeks of leave a yea...

I know when I went to LA Fitness to do my run the treadmill didn't calculate the speed up/slow down speeds. Either way, they should be able to tell you the minimum when you get there, but as long as you can do it on about 16kmph normally then you'll be fine. Also, while on the subject, if you want t...

Therefore it probably depends on your reports through them and your aptitude displayed on their tests. If yo...

For the Navy we were advised to take briefs but I'm not a fan of the Y-fronts so I used boxers for everything. Failing that, go commando but just make sure you don't get skids in your PT rig :P There was a mixture of both on our basic, though I took a small suitcase. Whatever you take will probably ...
