Kit list for TG course
Hi everybody
I have just been issued my kit list for my TG course, and I saw that it says 'jogging trousers (not ron hill)'
I was wondering what does it mean by 'not ron hill'?

Hi charltonboy2008
I start my TG course in three weeks and I have been told throughout my selection stages for the regt that after the initial 4 weeks you do get a long weekend and from that point on you tend to have your weekends free but you are less likely to be doing anything apart from sleeping ...

Hi mate,
I've got my TG course on the 20th of April and I was told when I was on my PGAC that the 32 weeks are due to the fact that after you pass out at 22 weeks and earn your mudguards, you then have an extra 10 weeks which is your field gunners course in which you earn all your vehicle licences ...

Driving?
Hi,
I start my TG course on June 1st 2008, but I was wondering when I get to the point of the driving side of training what does this intail? Is undertaken as it is in civvy street or is it less harsh because I am really rubbish at driving?

tests
'Brophy' all you need to get on the apptitude tests for the RAF regiment Gunner or Officer is basically the lowest mark because its the infantry. I just went to OASC and failed my apptitude tests but I still stayed another night because apptitude tests did not matter for Regiment officers. But this ...

PGAC
There's no need to worry PGAC is easy the fitness tests are easy but when you do the overnight exercise which is not a test they will make you leopard crawl 300 metres with webbing and replica weapon and it is bloody hard trying.
