May sound like a silly question but... If a marine joined the SBS could he be returned back to the marine's?

Also does joining the Para's give you a better chance of getting into the SAS, i.e. do they have any specific training that helps when applying for selection?

Quick question.

Is it ok to do CIC with your local TA reg then apply for 23 selection? or will you still be sent to 4PARA first?

Also if you don't pass selection can you return to your old TA reg.

I wouldn't say that I am lacking in life experience to be honest. I'm nearly 20 and have been living and working away from home since I was 17. I know it is a bit different than the "uni" experience but I have had a chance to travel the country and work whilst studying. I know that if I wa...

Thanks for the advice. Can't seem to change my username... anyone know how? The problem is I'm currently employed so going to university to study for a degree will mean quitting and being unemployed for a number of years. I have the opportunity to study for a HNC/HND which is considered to be equivi...

Wanting to join as an officer

I'm thinking of applying to be an officer. I have been looking at the army careers website and it says you need 2 A levels or the equivilent. I currently have a BTEC National certificate DD in engineering and am completing my NVQ lv 3 in mechanical engineering. According to the website the qualifica...
