if the interview goes well then they may offer you a place. for certain trades you have to a further specialist interview but i'm not sure if steward is one of those trades, oh and plenty of waiting in between each stage is pretty standard. your afco will tell you if there is a specialist interview ...

if its anything like what i've done for pti trade you should now be waiting for your interview at your afco when places for your chosen trade come up.

i was same as you at the stage your at, i didn't have a clue what was coming next

ss i think the view you take on moving on is a good one but i really really want to get in the raf. I'm going to persevere and see if there are any other options i can take on a route in or see if any decisions can be changed on the raf recruitment side.

In your post you mention alcohol affecting your sample. Do you know if any health supplemments such as protein shakes have a detrimental effect on any sample that is taken in the medical?.

Protein shake is the only supplement i use to aid my gym work but i don't want it to ...

Hi all

I've got my interview and medical coming up on the 15th dec for PTI.

I know that in the interview i am gonna be quizzed about myself and on my knowledge of the RAF, it's history and also the PTI trade.

Using time wisely sounds like a good idea, i'm in the same position as you as i'm trying to get my ankle strong again after suffering quite a serious sprain, it's been 4 months now and it's still far from right.

Hey biggles, my understanding of the word competition is correct, the recent letter from my AFCO was worded in a way which made the competition for places sound a bit random thats all. I think Sharon's view on the letter sounds about right.

I received a letter yesterday from my AFCO which stated that due to the RAF recently down sizing in staffing numbers, no trade will be open until April 05 very earliest. It also stated that due to the amount of applicants there will now be a COMPETITION for places for those still interested in ...

Cheers tjd, as i said any info i can get is much appreciated, i think preperation is gonna be key. To be honest i wasn't expecting the selection process to be so scrupulous but then again this is the first time i've applied to the raf.

Hi

I have recently applied to join thre raf and am sitting my apptitude test in the very near future. I really want to become a pti so can anyone help me with regards preperation that i can do (both physical and mental). any help will be much appreciated!.
