From the perspective of someone interested in joining SAS(R) without any previous service or experience it is quite hard to know what is genuine information and what is BS.

I phoned 23 about joining without any previous service. They said that you have to have passed CIC before attempting selection. They normally arrange it with 4 PARA.

Does anyone know if you do P Company also?

If there is a 63 detachment in Birmingham I guess you would do para training with them.

Would you be able to do para training with 131 or even the RMR maybe?

I guess most people would just join the RMR rather than travel to 4 PARA.

No 4 PARA in the Midlands I don't think, so I guess I'd have to travel.

Its been posted on the forum that if you apply for 21 or 23 with no previous military experience that you have to complete CIC before attempting selection.
