One of my mates is going for selection for these guys in October. They arent really SF so to speak, they train with 21-23 Regiment well the long range recce patrols do anyway.

Read it while i was away with the cadets, its much better then "McNabs" account and more truthful one would have thought,considering in "Eye of the Storm" he gets slammed many times by the author for making stuff up.

Does anyone know the waiting time at the moment to get on to JROC, I know you have to go through IOT frist.

yeah i had herd it was around the 3-4 year period.

After the 4 years does anyone know what happens to the officer? Are they rtu'd and rebadged as RAF Reg or what ever regiment/corps etc they came from. Must be one hell of a drop.

Thats fine, im hitting level ten at the moment without working at it too hard so i should be able to push to level 12 at least when the time comes.

I know that RAF Reg Officers can apply to join 22 Reg, after passing selection what rank would they hold, for example say a Flt Lt?

Im currently at university and im training for a course with the ATc and need the best advice for a training porgramme for the course. Here is what is consists of.

Level Ten on the Bleep Test
30 Push Ups in a minute
25 Burpees in a Minute
1.5 mile in under 11 minutes.

and i have 8 weeks to train ...
