The requirments are there to give you something to aim for , if they didn't enforce them what would be the point in having them?

Nt at all i got to week 8 of basics at ATR winchester and decided it was not for me. I really should have waited longer but i was only 18. But i like where iam now better food /accom and i felt more accepted especially but other Trainee Gunners.

End of week 4 you get a long weekend. your never allowd out during the week but after around week 10 they loosen up on the weekends. Although it does vary from corse to corse and the Trg staff. Also if you mess (or anyone for that matter) up they will take them away from you.

Iam exactly the same (well was at least) and i tried both, army first then the redg, Its pretty obv what i prefer !!!
Dont worry about it !!! The regiment i tough but well worth it when you get those mudguards, but everyone has to carve there own path in life and i hope you choose what you want ...

You might want to direct these questions toward an AFCO. But if you have any specific questions about TG crse then id be happy to oblige.
As for CSAR then i would worry about TG crse then field gunners first. Its a highly specialised role , one which im almost certain that you have to have completed ...

I know this sounds odd, but ive just passed out of raf regiment Trainee gunner corse. and to be honest i have found it a challenge but sadly not anymore and i think the marines may be more in line with the sort of challenge i want. In how much stead will passing TG corse hold me if i was to apply ...
