Got my first airshow next saturday and really looking forward to it :D. Anyway, just wondering what the scoop is with it- do you get to walk round at your leisure and go in and around aircraft talking to the pro's?
Also it says gates open at 8am- is it best to try and get there for that time? Ive ...

Im going for loadmaster and have my AFCO interview soon so will hopefully be at OASC before the end of the year.
At leaest their still recruiting Aircrew so if i do well i might be able to get in relatively soon.

Thanks for that.

For the last few years ive been involved in community work and for the last few months ive been driving old wifeys to their hospital appointments, so hopefully it will look good.

I was worried about the commitment issue :cry:

I was in at 9am and finished at 11am 4 days out of 5!! Found it too easy and didnt feel challeneged at all. No way i could do it for 4 years!

I'm 19 and like to think im mature but maybe others wont :wink:. Seriously though ive had a full time job for the last 18 months that has made a big difference to me. I'm worried about being told to go to uni because ive tried it once and totally hated it to be honest!

My first post so looking for some advice from the more experienced on the board :D.

Im wanting to join the RAF as pilot but have got to be realistic and think about the competition. So my main question is if you go to the OASC, pass all the aptitude tests and do alright in the interview ...
