Special Recconnaisance Regiment
It will be a while before I can get on a briefing course, so I was wondering if a serving / ex serving member of the SRR could PM me some information.
I'm curious about what sort of things the SRR do in Afghan'... And I'd like some general info' on selection please.

It's not a specialisation, it's an additional qualification. Before you can go on your snipers aptitude (selection), you must score as a marksman on your APWT... The course itself is one long ball-ache spent doing things like looking for a whistle in a tree... Not really my thing. You'd be better of...

It's because of the kit you'll be wearing... Webbing, daysack CBA etc. When you move it chaffes, which will aggravate any infection / acne / whatever you've got on that particular area.
