A simple answer is to this is just drink plenty of skim milk through the day. plenty of protein dense calories there. Easy to add weight. As you won't be able to have your shakes in RT, milk is a better.

Don't forget, 8 hours is the maximum time allowed, so it is usually done faster, and you have to do the map reading on the 30 miler too.

Stoof, If I was you I'd leave the weights out and concentrate on doing press ups. That is what is required. 3 pull ps and 35 press ups?? Are you ghey?? J/K Seriously, with pull ups do what you can then do negatives. Jump up and get you chin above the bar the lower yourself as slowly as possible. Fight that gravity. You can only get better at press ups by doing them. I don't know what yor circuits are like...

Zinc Oxide tape is better than plasters for blisters. Also if you can get Betadine spray, that coud be useful for any blisters, scratches or cuts you get, and will very useful in RT.
