Hi Kentaganus, its the 'idiot' here :D. I was indeed joking, I thought that was pretty obvious but I suppose its quite easy to get the wrong end of the stick on internet forums. I totally agree with you and Felias joining the Royal Marines for girls is silly, nay idiotic. I was just attempting to ...

It seems silly now but when I was first starting my research and application I had the impression that I would be on the older end of Royal Marine recruits. I had the idea that they recruited mainly 16 to 18 year olds (I'm 20) however it seems that most of the successful recruits from my AFCO are in ...

I mentioned it to my AFCO pretty much as soon as I discovered it, as I found that it answered most of the questions that I had which a non-RM recruiting officer wouldn't be able to. I would urge everyone to tell their AFCO about this site as it could be a major aid to recruits. However I'm not sure ...

Thanks for all the comments guys. I needed to get this of my chest as it did annoy me that I wasn't able to show my AFCO the best that I could do. However I passed, so its not as big a deal as it feels .
Should be going in to book my PRMC soon, hopefully early April. It would be good to know ...

Annoying PJFT
Hi all, had my PJFT today which I am a bit annoyed at :x , I passed in 9 minutes and 30 seconds which is alright but I could have done much better and was looking for sub 9 minutes. The problem was the treadmill machines they had at the LA Fitness gym in Holborn London didn't go faster than 16 km/h ...

Thats what I'm working for, summed up beautifully. Its an attitude to life. One that is becoming increasingly rare.
Thanks for starting the thread Chas, I think we occassionally need to get back to the basics of what the members of this forum are attempting to achieve and not get too bogged down in ...
