If you go to your AFCO and ask nicely they will give you the current issue of Globe and Laurel, beyond being a good read will keep you abreast of where and what 40, 42 and 45 are doing.
Everything else is on the Royal Navy website. Take some time and trawl though it.
Although i'm sure it will vary ...

well since i have spent much of the past 9 months in a gym that was absolutely rigid with steroid abusers i decided to run my 3 minutes on 'Steroid Abuse, the Side-Effects', with a good portion spent on erectile dysfunction, impotence, atrophy of the testicles and the development of breasts. Nearly POC.. hate my leg

Unfortunately due to a pulled hamstring a few weeks back i have decided that i am not quite up to the grade of passing my POC that is due on the 13th. Had a chat with the lovely lady at the AIB down in Gosport, looking for some advice and was informed that if i went down next week and failed, then ...

Well i gather that regardless of your level of fitness the PTI's will take you to your limit on a POC. If they can see that you are markedly fitter than those in your group i would expect them to take you aside and give an extra little beasting.
I was just surprised at the level of training they ...

fitness schedule doubts

Just received my POC date this morning, it is in about 16 weeks. With it came a Potential Royal Marine Fitness Schedule, it seems to be aimed mainly at recruits that have passed PRMC or POC and outlines a training schedule to do before turning up for basic training.
Although the PTI posing for the ...

300 went to the POC, that doesnt mean only 300 people applied. Hundered if not thousands would of applied and failed at the interview

That makes more sense. Apart from how the hell do you fail those first interviews? The job must attract a lot of wasters or something, the officer interviewing me ...

Another quicky, does anybody do a test day each week like that little green fitness schedule tells you to or do you do something different to test yourselves. The test day seems ok but you cant really get a feel for the amount of press up, sit ups and pull ups that you'll be able to manage at PRMC ...

2 years? The other thing you mentioned was being a personal trainer. If i were you i would find a course along these lines at university, sports performance, sport in the community, sports science etc. This would give you the degree that will make you more competative at AIB, be of further used to ...

I would have to point out that the original poster's view that islam is a stronger religion because muslims pray five times a day and then go out and uphold the laws of the koran is not excactly true. Im sure most do pray five times a day but the subjegation of women in society, intolerance of other ...
