It is not my intention to tar everybody with the same brush.
I am fully aware that there is a lot of good advice within the forums and plenty of it has being useful to myself.
I am by no means describing all forum users in my above post, I am refering only to a few individuals.
I understand that ...

All these injuries!!!!!

As you can see I rarely post I prefer to just read the topics, until now.
I am sick of young lads on this forum who spend half of their time raving on about how much phys they do and which miracle training programme they are on this week, and the other half of their time whinging about what appear ...

No bleep test, this is true!!
For Para reg you would be expected to do a minimum of 10 pull ups.
They will be looking for the 1.5 mile to be completed in less than 9 mins.
Forget all this crap about 9:15 or 9:30 or whatever, to be safe you need to complete it in sub 9:00.
Yes they are fussy about ...

Nobody is saying you are Mal, everybody just quite simply wants to see the back of you and your pathetic posts, so do the right thing, leave the forums, sell your computer or do whatever it takes to stop yourself writing shite.

Talking drivvel again para_recruit.
Kiss goodbye to you properly functioning knees by the time you are 30 if you keep that up, you probably won't be as cockey and stupid when that happens to you.

About time you changed that username aswell.

Well said James.
It wouldn't be half as bad either if para_recruit could for at least once string together a decent post instead of the usual junk he writes with words all over the place, poor spelling and grammar.

Ok then chap, look at it from an interviewers or boards point of view, They will obviously want to see that you are 100% committed, dedicated and all the rest of it, to the specific reg/corps for which you are being interviewed. They could quite easily draw an inference that you would not be due to ...

Ok wannabee bootneck, do not get me wrong because I am not screwing with you in anyway nor do I have any intention of dis-respecting you.
There is no decision to make, certainly not as far as the paras are concerned. You either wanna be a para or you don't!
The point is to succeed in the paras you ...

New army test

Some of you may be aware that there is a new test being introduced as part of the british army application process.
This is a literacy and numeracy test taken on a computer.
The test is similar to that of BARB, however there is no time limit and the test does take longer to complete.
It is unique in ...

I've just looked up the "Times are changing" thread and ED is right this chap is a complete nobber.
Take Ed's advice and get yourself into the RFF and when you do, change your username!!!!
Cheers.
