It wouldn't have been so bad if France had just scored early, then we could've sat back and said .."Well that's right about on par"
BUt no, we had to sit there for a full 92 minutes and think "My god, they might actually win" only to have them lose in stoppage time.

Plus side was they looked like ...

Is anyone aware of what the Canadian Equivalent of A-Levels are? Or the closest thing to it.

I Must say it I didn't know that you were unable to become an officer and not have a degree or at least have a commitment to complete one (That's my situation within the Canadian Navy right now)

Reagan was your every american man, that's probably his most endearing quality.

The saddest thing about the whole situation is that because of his Alzheimers he couldn't remember anything that he had done in his life, and that's a real shame considering how eventful a life it was.

Thanks again for the welcomings.

I was born in Plymouth and I moved to Canada when I was 7 years old.
So my memories of my home and life before Canada are kind of all blurred together, but still there.

Rarely get to go back and visit, work and school take up my time now, with any luck that will ...

Interesting thing is, the amount of time it may take to join the RM's is about the same, if not shorter, than the amount of time it would take someone of the same origin as I to join the Canadian forces.

Thanks for the headsup.

I'm in the same boat.
Though I am a dual citizen, of UK origin, now living in Canada. Not certain that makes much of a difference however, still in the process of finding everything out myself.

Good luck, Keep posting and letting me know where you are in your application and I shall do likewise ...

Bit of Humor there, partially true though.
At one point it was the Canadian Armed Forces, now it is simply the Canadian Forces (apparently armed was "too agressive".) This happened to coincide with our being raped by the successive governments and left to rot, so there is some truth to it.
