Hello all, like to start off by saying a big WELL DONE to the guys from mfat who went down there and did the business! Gutted that i couldnt join you!

The story is, went to doc's on the monday and he said i strained two tendons and bruised a bone in the ball of my foot...nice. So had to postpone ...

Well its nearly time to face the music and earn myself some new boots! With only a long weekend to go before PRMC-3 days of digging out blind!

Very valid point Dwarfy and one that needed to be pointed out, its important to know the different types of strength of mind and how a RM needs to have both to do their job effectively.

In the PRM fitness schedule it points this out i think where it tells you to run under a variety of weathers and ...

With my PRMC in 1week and 1 day i really get what you're saying, nothing much i can do now physically can make a big difference, its now all about mental preparation, how much i want it and how much im willing to give, which although i am hoping to give it all i can only really show it when im down ...

You can get sorbothane innersoles from most sports shops, and outdoor camping/hiking stores, and they cost anywhere from £11-17, also run a search for them online and you should find a few places.

'TheWedge' on your PRMC brief (if you're one of the afco's that have it) will tell you what level you need on the bleep test, they told me because of my Mechanical Comprehension score i need at least a 10 to pass...but that doesnt really matter as everyone should be training to achieve level 13... :)

i had anterior ompartment syndrome maybe a month or two ago and the way i corrected it was letting it heal up for a week and then buying sorbothane innersoles which stop 94% of the impact when running. also running on softer surfaces, (grass, sand etc) helps take the impact off as well, a ...

Running on Sand

Hi all, with two weeks to go till my PRMC i've taken to running 3 miles on my local strecth of sand, does wonders! It was a PTI at my gym that suggested it and it gives you a hell of a work out.

If you can i'd suggest getting on to your local stretch of sand (if you have on) and start going for it ...
