Cheers E5, and to be honest michealshane - I'm gonna re attempt the para run time, so if I have to re-do my ADSC, I will I want Para though.

Paras hopefully, but im stressing big style about my run time, cant seem to shave it down from 9.30secs.

I hold both the maroon machine and the corps in high esteem. I tried for the marines, failed PRMC and always knew I would also try for the paras. The way I see it both units have different specialisations but rank along side each other in terms of soldiering skills.

Just to note, It would be a very f**ked up policy to cut out para training for recruits and i would imagine the implications will be far greater than just broken hearts within the regiment and lower recruiting figures.

Thats it basically, a query I have!
Anybody know how often there is a recruit intake in catterick for parachute regiment recruits, or the royal anglian regiment which is my second choice?

I'm christian. I drink, it's just a lifestyle choice. I dont see any reason why you will find it difficult in training or a unit as a non-drinker. If your soldiering skills and general proffessionalism are s*^t hot, then I'd imagine that's what the onus is placed on. Not your capacity ...

haha great ad, I did the tunnel on POC, wasn't half as terrifying as the prospect of the rest of the endurance course.
I failed the run but not the tunnel. :oops:
