Boxing and running complement each other very well... when training at uni, we are encouraged to do at least two 3-6 mile runs a week plus a few sprint sessions.

I know that Cambridge Uni boxing team run 7 times a week prior to their Varsity Match.

6:20 min miles is a good pace for a fit person over 3 miles, let alone 10. What's your secret (or is '63 mins' just a typo)?

My mate was advised to take creatine by the marines advisor to 'bulk up' before his PRMC. He was a pretty lanky bastard though....

I find looking forward (rather than down) makes for the deepest/hardest press-up. Maybe it's just me, but when i simply try to touch the floor with my nose, I subconciously start bending my neck (so my chest doesn't reach the floor)....just a thought.

I've heard a lot of good things about 'super-setting' different exercises. Apparently it's used in the martial arts to build strength endurance as well as keeping the heart-rate up for a sustained period.

True, but since I've got a fair amount of time, don't you think it would be better to build up some core strength first, and then work on endurance nearer the time? Being quite a small lad, I'm worried ...
