That's actually a Positive :D. You do not get paid until you are well into phase 1 though. I know this because alot of recruits have just got it through.

It's purely based on merit, they take the people with the best AIB scores (i think that the POC factors into this score to a small extent). Last year they had about 58 places and i believe twice as many people passed both. Physically you should be one of the strongest candidates on your POC to stand...
