Thanks :D

On you PGAC you don't do a 1.5 mile run, only the 3 miler.

Little tip for you - When you do the 3 miler on pgac it is 6 times round a feild. However the PTI may feel like he wants to carry on running so do not moan or complain or stop! We ran an extra 100m and lads stopped. Because of ...

Your AFCO is correct. You will have your interview, medical then have to attend PGAC instead of doing a PJFT. If you have any questions then fire away as i passed my PGAC few weeks back and start TG course on the 10th.

That should be fine Mark. I have a full tribal sleeve, starting from my upper back and chest running down my arm. It stops so that if i wear a shirt its hidden.

I left the Royal Marines in week 13 of basic. I was only 17 and just felt I needed more time to do stuff. After a few months I realised it was the biggest mistake I ever made and then had a few personal problems which delayed me re-joining.

The reason I now want to be in the RAF regt is because ...

As far as I am aware it does matter. They use your papers to send off to your ex service to get the "all clear".

For example, I just got my papers from Lympstone and handed them over to the RAF AFCO staff, and now they have got to send them away and make sure I'm eligible to join. I think it's to ...

Thanks for the info lads. I did talk to the AFCO people and asked if they could not just send for them or get the Navy staff to but they did not seem that interested.

However I did manage to talk to the discharge NCO at Lympstone on the phone yesterday and he had all my details and said he would ...

Discharge Papers

Hello all,
After much consideration I am looking to join the RAF Regt.

I went to the local careers office and the problem is that they can't do anything with me until I find my discharge papers from the Royal Marines. I have searched everywhere and cant find them.

Just wondering if anyone can ...

Those woods are linked with Thetford. So with that in mind you could have seen a number of things.

Someone hiding a dead body is a good example. I lived in Thetford, it's a rum old place. Live in Bury now though, not much better.

Insoles are a great idea, even if you dont have a foot injury. When i was in training i loved my insoles. Its all about making yourself as comfortable as you can :)

Thats right! We got off hunters moon and Sgt expected all our kit washed and ready for inspection lmao. Then he said he's going home because he has had enough.

I liked Hunters Moon, falling waist deep in a swamp when it's pitch black on a night nav with 3 other guys who didn't have a clue what was ...
