Hi, bit off topici was just wondering, what speed to put the tredmill at if your pjft in under 12 mins on a tredmill. Im sure i saw something on this site before about what speed to set it for for a set time. couldnt find it using the search button. Thanks in advance

A wee bit off subject but in the timetable it says the mile and a half is a circuit around camp, does anyone know if this is the same at Glencourse, someone told me that glencourse run is done on a single track, and you need to watch your footing as it can get boggy. Another a quick question

Just wondering, when you do your medical they check for a hernia, but what happens if you DO have one. Do you fail or get deferred and told to go away and get it fixed, or are you not allowed to join at any time.

Hi, thanks alot for all the feedback. We done a warm up of the route, we ran/walked for about halyway, than they showed us where we go, it was that hard (even for my poor fitness). Thanks, i think i know the exercise you mean, i think burpees is another name for it, im not sure if any one would know if im correct. If so how many do you think i should do, or just crack on with them and do as many as i can.

Thank for the reply, everytime i try to run quicker my lags feel like theyre made of lead, and my lungs feel like theyre gonna explode. But thanks for the advice anyway.

Hi, just back from Army development day at t my local careers office. Consisted of 1.5 mile run, heaves, jerry can lift, ice breakers and command tasks. I preformed good on everthing except the run. Alrite mate, congrats on the improvements, theyre very good for just two weeks. What was your training programme during the two weeks? Just to see if i can use the same or similar methods to help me get e decent level of fitness, if you dont mind me asking. Thanks.
