I am joining as a MA, I did my selection last September and was told I would defently be joining in July. They phoned in March and asked if i wanted to join in two weeks time as someone dropped out, I turnt them down becuase I did not want to waste two years of college. Anyways I have still not ...

lol sounds confusing.

If I did the courses to work with the Marines would I have to wait till there is an attachment with them is avaible or would I only be offered the courses if they need RN MA's to work with Royal?

After I did a stint with Royal could I go back to working with matelots easily ...

In addition to their medical training personnel receive special to arms training to prepare them for the military role in which they are to deploy.

I take it you swim alot so you got a level of fitness and do not need to start out by jogging and running. First get a decent pair of running shoes.

Where are MAs used?

I know they are used on ships and a few NHS hosptials, and navel bases but are they used in field hosptials or bases in Iraq or Afanganistan? or does the Army and RAF fulfil the need of medical support there.

hi,

I am hopefully joinng as a MA in July, i have passed the selection and i am just awaiting my entry dates which seems to be taking forever to arrive. It was September last year when i had finished selection. There was a years waiting list when i applied.

I went down to portsmouth last summer ...
