9:16, thats why i remember that it is 9:17. i really sprinted on the finish straight which got my time under otherwise i would have missed it. good luck mate.

9:17 i was there a couple of weeks ago. im on the october intake aswell.

just 1 thing, you said "its para's or nothing" but then in the same sentence said you would join rm.

its paras or nothing.. if they say far enough then i will go for rm

ye trainings going alrite mate. it will be sunday so they can make sure everybody is there ok, everything will start on Monday.

if you havent read Lofty's book, read it!!! it is the best book around (of any kind). He is a true legend, passed selection twice to get into the regiment once, after being told he was not medically fit for the army, (from being a POW in korea).

10 mins will be fine, thats a good time to get. most people when i was there were slower than 10:30. the first time i went i ran 9:56 and finished in 13th place, there was about 30-35 people there. alot of people there are surprisingly unfit!!

ye tunny thats right, i was at the back the first time i went to lichfield and it does lose you a lot of time getting past everyone.
