Well you could ferry the Station Commander here and there i suppose, thats as close as you might get to helping with Regiment ops...

ok, fair enough! i went on my pgac last year april 2004! i passed it but theres just no future in it. I did alot of training for it, but wasnt to sure at the end when i got offered a place. Instead i went in as a driver coz the afco told me that i could b a driver in the regiment, if i passed their ...

hey

Its 18 weeks, there is a pre para course which is an added 3 wks but he wouldnt get straight onto it. He gets all the info i needs to from the afco anyway. Surely he should have found out the training before he goes even for the appitude test!! The pgac will give him an idea anyway.

i joined the air force last year, as a driver, a crap trade, but once you have your foot in the door, done well throughout your training, you stand a good chance of knowing the air force and getting to aircrew after 24 months of service. You only need 3 gcses instead of the 5 when joining ...
