All the forces love sport, no idea about the football in the RM but their boxing team is damn good. Since joining the TA I've spent more time playing sport than training which suits me, get to go to Gucci places to play Gucci sports...if only it was on Gucci pay.

I dived right in and said I would like to be an Officer from the start however I can see how doing time in the ranks would be good. Nah I passed the selection last year then did the course, well half of it then had an operation on my foot and it got infected so had to drop out. I'm just waiting for Phase 2 to start not long now first weekend of Sept.

Good to see you eager, it'll pay off later when you're freezing and soaked to the bone then the DS can see who really does want to pass.

I considered 15 Coy too even put in for a transfer but by the time I had done their training my officers course again and got my pip it would be time for me to join the Regs. Decided to stay and get some valuable experience with my current unit, gonna get me a set of wings at some point though.

Visit www.ta.mod.uk like AdamR said have a look around and see if it's for you. If so then phone the number and they'll tell you what the process is, you will be asked to attend a selection board then if successful you'll join the preparation course for RMAS.
