Yeah, and no Stanley Baker or Michael Caine either which is a drag. Zulu was a lot better I think, Zulu Dawn's alright, but you can't beat Zulu.

I really like Zulu, that film's just fantastic, especially when they're singing at the Zulus and the Zulus are singing back then theres all that charging and the FRONT RANK...FIRE!!!!! going on, great stuff.

I watched Saving Private Ryan last night funnily enough but I was too tired to really dig ...

If they can hack the same training and harsh conditions as the blokes they're serving along side, then I see no reason for them not to be let in. So longs they have to do everything the guys do, and can do it, I really can't see a problem so longs as everyone's professional about it.

I wonder what nutcase thought that one up, but then again, I still wouldn't have voted for any other party. The backlash from it will be so great that they won't be able to realisticly keep it going if they introduce it.

I work nights and I'm thinking of switching from 10 hour shifts to more 5 hour ones. I think it's not too hard to work around if you join an allnight gym or don't mind the hours you train at though, when I get in from work at 7:30 I'm usually completely knackered and I'm not sure if this is a good ...

People get passionate about football, especially when they've flown a kafillion miles to see it and probably had an earfull off of the missus as a result. Solitary fans can be reasonable, but in large groups they end up spuring eachother on to ever greater heights of "laddish" behaviour until it ...

Thanks for the advice guys, I think being a "weekend warrior" would be beneficial for me, even if I don't decide to go on to be a regular. I'll be able to squeeze an appointment with a careers type person around work next week so I'll have an even better idea of things after that.

With regards to ...

"It'll make a MAHN of you son!"

But will it?

I've been considering joining the armed forces for quite a while, if I do I'd try to join the Royal Marines. But what are everyone's opinions with regards to temprement and attitude that gets through? I know it (in general, not just RM) makes some men and breaks others.

The thing ...

I got a B for my German, I barely remember the oral exam, but I talked and talked and "Ich verstehe nicht" and "bitte?" etc, worked out ok.
