For the teaming tasks you get split into about groups of 8. Then you have to do 4 tasks like getting over a wall, without touching it, using a plank of wood and two poles. You all have to get over it and a jerry can, and return, in under 8 minutes - this task is alot easier of you have a 6ft 5 boxer ...

All the people that failed my RSC (apart from the medical) were failed because of either the teaming tasks, or just their general attitude. However, it was interesting to realise that they all came at the end on the run.

The run is the single most inportant thing at the RSC. And dont try to keep up ...

I am doing RE Electricain and have been told that, as an electrician, you will mainly get industrial electrics qualifications, which is fine in some civvy jobs. However, on leaving you can do courses, with the Army, to allow you to become a real civvy electricain to permit you to do crappy civvy ...

The way i done the BARB test was like this:

Bill is taller than Harry.

I would then say to myself, 'Right, Bill is taller?'

Then when the page disappeared and the question asked 'Who is shorter?', I would repeat 'Bill is taller', and then select Harry.

In the essential items part of the packing list it states underwear and sports underwear?

Any ideas what this means?

Also, do you suggest taking an Ironing Board?

Thanks

Yea as the others said its really easy.

The only other thing there is which hasnt been mentioned is factorising.

All the other stuff is division, adding, etc. Just make sure you can multiply, add, subtract and divide fractions.

Pass mark for RE Electrician was something like 30 out of 55.
