Hey skeav, knew you could do it mate, nice one.

The best thing which would strengthen your back would be to go to the gym (if you can) and use the exercise machines which strengthen all areas of the back. I have you added on msn and would be glad to tell explain to you the exercises which will help.

Training

Hey, im 16 and i have been accepted for Harrogate in september for the Paratroopers. I am over the moon but my parents are giving me an ear ache about overtraining in anticipation of fitness tests etc.
Has anyone got a training programme that would benefit me for when i attend Harrogate?

Any help ...

They guaranteed that i will be attending Harrogate in september :D i just worry a little because it's been my life long ambition to join the army and i always like to be re-assured.

Right,
I too myself think it would be a good idea if i get used to boots as the only ones i have worn myself are my Timberlands :P! I mean i don't mind spending a bit of cash on something which is going to help me, even if it isn't that beneficial :) I would run around my local park many times ...

Training Equipment

Hey,

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to buy a pair of boots similar to the ones they use in the army from an army surplus shop so i could mould my feet into them and get used to them? Would this be a waste of money or would it help?

Ah right nice one dude! And i assume and hope your enjoying it? Ah right the screening is just the basic medicals isnt it, yeh i was just wondering what it will be like from day 1 etc...

Yeah, i don't think i will like the thrashings but there inevitable aren't they so i've just got to accept them ...
