Cobblers - many units have coloured berets and if you don't pass their training you don't get their beret. I wore my green beret with pride - I worked for it.
I don't think passing out as recruit counts fella!

Green berret? AGC per chance?

It sickens me to know that not just any officer, but one who is payed a great deal to lead a regiment of such profile, can be such a lowly man.

Good on the fella for standing up for his family & his rights, stick it to 'em fella!

Your Northern crack??? With that attitude fella that's exactly what you'd get, a good crack round the chops! Half the folk on here are from the north, and in the northern city I come from you certainly wouldn't get away with it!

Not sure if JJB or alike will stock them, but most independant sports stores will. Or get yourself onto one of the rugby mag websites (rugby world) they deffo sell them. Great bits of kit but don't wear them all the time.

Everyone knows everyone else, through every trade in ever...

Just do what the RAF do, no head-dress in doors (unless on orders) Salute only if you really have to and the occifers are really close, or walk round the long way just to avoid the ruperts!

It makes sense when you think it's one of the few military airheads that has the length & weight capacity for every type of aircraft we use (and others if you catch my drift)

With all due respect dj, he's not going to play with ships or planes, he's going to RAF Honington where he'll be out of sight of the tree huggers saying 'don't shout at the trainees' or 'don't use foul language'. He'll be beasted from dawn til dusk and then some. So youngster, like people have said,...
