rsn mate, I'm probably the last person to know this (and I apologise for not knowing before), but I thought you were going for the Marines mate?
I was going in for the marines but I couldn't. I failed on colour perception on my medical (or so I've been told) so my options were limited. I'm going ...

All arms commando course (AACC)
Can you apply to take this course whatever career you are currently working as in armed forces or is it only for certain jobs? Also, has anybody got any info on this course ie. length, training, how to apply (is there a limit to how long you have had to been serving in the armed forces?) etc. Thanks.

If you are in the navy etc. already, can you apply to join the marines and is the training the same i.e. type and length?

Gym or home training?
What do people think is best? Personally I train at home and run outdoors (as I feel I get better results) although I find it easier to gat motivated in the gym.

When i 1st started training last year i found i had chin splints in both legs. Although after a few weeks of gentle runs they seemed to go for some reason. I would advise not running if you are in pain, make sure you always stretch correctly and don't start off running at too great a pace, just ease ...

I find it hard to run on them simply because i get bored looking at a blank wall or tv screen. Running outdoors is far better and greatly improves your fitness level compared to just rinning on a treadmill. I went the gym last year for about 8 months and just trained on treadmill for about 30mins a ...

Press-ups help needed
I'm currently training for PRMC and seem to be improving quite quickly in all areas of my training ie. running, pull-ups etc. but i seem to be having trouble improving my press-up situation. I've been traing for just over 2 months now and can still only achieve about 25 press-ups max (I could do ...

Can I join as an Officer?
I've got 8 GCSEs A-C, 5 AS-Levels (1c, 1d, 3es only at AS) an a NVQ Level 2. Is this enough or do you need full A-Levels/degree? I've already applied as a recruit.
