For People Who Are Joining The RLC

Just so that you are aware, this is what you need to do as a Minimum to pass the BAFT test and it goes for both males and females:-

Run:- 14.30mins anything after this you will be told to do it again!

Potential Officer List

Well guy's I have just been informed that I am now on the official Potential Officer E-Mail Database.. My first date for Map Reading Training is the 23rd-25th Sept.

I sure many of you are thinking, so what! But I'm exciting as Im sure many of you were when you were first started out..

Thanks for help.. Can I ask you how you've prepared yourself?

Im with Royal Logistic Corp at the moment '5 Trg Rgt', got my TAF2 in Septemeber then onto the two training in November, which I cannot wait for.. In the mean time I'm trying to prepare myself for Officer Selection ...

Territorial Commissions Board (TCB) Briefing

Having just been on my TAF1 weekend and getting the Trade that I wanted (Movement Operator), I have also been been put forward for Officer Potential and was wondering if anyone could give me some advise on how to prepare for the TCB? or where I can find some info on Officer Selection?

Blotra, word of advice...

Reading your first post, with all the valid questions, I must say you are going about this a little fast. I think its good that you are looking at all aspects of the RAF, but what you should be asking yourself is, do you want Trade or Officer?

Looking through the posts, a lot of them go on about fitness, but no one has actually mentioned the level of fitness you need..

Cancer Research

Just to let you know that today (9th May) was the Race For Life Cancer Research 5k run in Rhyl.. And even though it was unbelievably windy and got very wet each time the tide came crashing over (typical welsh weather) I managed to complete the course in 29mins 16seconds..

Application Process

Ive just sent an application off to Grantham and was just wondering what the process is from here onwards.. Ive just found out that both my referees have received the references and have sent them back.. Can someone tell me what happens next and how long it may take?
