sorry to jump on the thread, but what exactly happens in hunter company. I have had a look on the navy web site and searched the forums but couldnt see anything. What i mean is do you have an instructor who puts you through personal training every day until you get better or what? im not too sure ...

Breaking in combat boots

obviously every one that passes the PRMC gets there combat boots to wear in for training. How many miles would you class as comfortably wearing them in. I have probably walked equivalent of 12-15 miles in mine. They seem fine now, what does every one else do?

One thing you'll realize in training DaveB is that your training team will expect you to crack on at all times which is a good thing but can also be bad, it sometimes is a case of i go to sick bay and get this sorted asap and miss 3 days worth of phys (which may piss the team off) or i carry on and ...

lol sorry double post, wondered where my post went, didnt realise there was a page 2. Will phone up the careers office on Monday and tell them whats what. :lol: yea 2 weeks is a tad better, will get foundation done then atleast.

Once your in the Royal Marines starting training and so on, how many travel warrants are you issued for the year? I was told you where given 4 return warrants a year? is that right?

can you double check that is the actual leaving date for easter? as i dont want to phone up my AFCO to prove them wrong, and then feeling like a tit :oops: :roll:. But yeah i thought when i was told it was a bit silly, why would they get you ready in foundation for only 5 days, send you home for 2 ...

Tell your AFCO to check their dates, if they're right I'm doing Final Ex during my time off! Easter leave is definitely 25th March - 10th April. Have fun down here...you won't want to come back after two weeks off having only just done Foundation, but it does get better...slowly!
