I have ADSC on the 22nd of October, and am yet to recieve my joining instructions.

I realise there is a 1.5 mile best effort run, but can someone also tell me what other physical tests there are, and the standard required (I'm female)? Are there any situps or pressups?

Thanks mate, well i've done pentathlete, triathlete, abseiling, running, weight lifting, aikdo, judo and ju-jutsu, so I should be ok for that section right? hmm i'm quite nervous about it though! yeah sounds good! Thanks for that.

I take it you recieve a mark from the interview, on base, and then you go down to Cranwell for aptitudes and medical. And then everyone who has applied for bursary has their scores reviewed and then they're awarded to the applicants?

ok, only non bursaries go for the on base ...

What about if you sat the aptitude test to get onto your UAS do you have to do it again?

Is there no interview for the bursary?

the interview is done on base like a filter int. If you pass your aptitude you don't have to do it again. However if you pass your medical you have to do it ...

for future reference, people hoping to do university bursaries and join a uas must complete all of cranwell selection.

those just hoping to get into a uas and apply for a bursary later just have to do the medical and aptitude.
