Wouldn't need to include information on specific unit you were/are with, just general information ...

I've got two Huskies which I take out running with me attached to a belt around the waist. I used to work my dogs so they have been trained to understand commands (when they feel like it) for starting, left, right and stop. Good control is needed especially when starting the run as they will be so ...

Re: Dogs

How are the marines about dogs? I know I couldn't have one in RT but what about after that in the base's houses. I think that is clear enough to understand. I just really want a Jalerran Siberian Huskie :(.

Stinky,
Jalerran Siberian Huskies are a kennel based in the US, and I know for a fact that ...

£100 for 2 months work!!! Half the lads on there are probably earning that in a day with their criminal activities.

You will probably find that they are being paid for being on the programme, I know them muppets on Big Brother are being given £30 a day for every day they spend in there.

National ...

Three Peaks Challenge

Anybody got any tips or advice on doing the Three Peaks Challenge? Have been tasked to organise it as a 'Team Building' challenge by my employers.

Would appreciate any advice anybody can give on the organisation of such a challenge, or some good websites etc. Have done a google search and come up ...

Like all the others said just take it as it comes.

I was the only Taff in my intake and got loads of stick, as long as you take it all in your stride and have a laugh about it you'll be OK.

We had a guy from NI with us and we all took the piss, but in the end everybody knows it's all a piss take ...

Don't aim for the minimum standard, the fitter you are the easier you will find basic.

When I joined up over 10 years ago the times were 11:30 at RSC at 10:30 by the time you got to basic. I managed something like 11:25 at RSC and by the time I finished basic I was doing it in about 9:00. Got it ...

PTI got in the ring with one of our boys too, he'd been pissing about beforehand so the PTI just threw some gloves at him ...

WJC, you say you want to join the Paras, with your attitude you wouldn't go very far. One thing an officer will need from his men is their respect or your life will be hell, and that goes for whatever regiment you are in.

There are a lot of tough blokes in the Paras and belive me they wouldn't ...
