Its all about combination now days.
You need infantry to back up the tanks and visa versa, then Apache helicopters in proximity of your own tanks.

This way, infantry can take out anybody gets close enough to use an RPG, tanks can still do their shit while the apache takes out targets from long ...

Ok I went to recruiting, spoke to friends & family.

I've made my mind up to go for Artillery and in the future try to get into the para section.
Im not choosing artillery because of others peoples influence, I was totally deadlocked on ...

I've also chose to go for the RA.
I wanted to join the Para's in a rifle regiment but my mum got to her knee's and begged me not to join as an infantry soldier.
So Im going to join the RA and maybe try out for my wings in a year or so.
My mum still doesnt like the idea of me being in the army but ...

Only way I will get a training partner is if I find someone from my area. Thats like Catterick Garrison / Yorkshire Dales. Still, I guess this area is as good as any to train in, even if im training solo :roll:

No Balloon jump???????????????What the f@#k is going on!!!!!! And as for the too expensive as the crews had to stay in hotels bollox! The Balloon was an old barage balloon on a WINCH no crew needed, just some bored craphat sitting on the back of a wagon with an up and down button..
