30 minutes for the B.A.R.B and about an hour for the Basic skills tests. Just pop in to see your AFCO and he will give you a booklet and keep reading it over and over. The starting questions on the skills test are written for an 8 year old.

Recruit selection centre. Its where you go to do your medical, physical and team tasks to gain a placement in the army. Im off there in two weeks :D

Hi all, i have my Barb test booked for next thursday. I keep reading through the booklet to get myself used to the type off questions. Has any one got any tips for the new maths and english tests and what they involve

Congrats on the barb score pretty going, still got all mine to come as i only sent my forms in just before the holiday. What level are you at fitness wise, struggling on the press ups at the moment , lost a lot of weight and the muscle went with it. What reg and trade are you looking to go in to

Would be nice if they did stop situps as mine arent going to well, sitting on a soft surface i can do 70 in 2 mins but then i get on the floor and run out of skin on my arse bone by the second set :oops: and tips anyone.

Hoping to join R.E.M.E installation technician or metal smith/ fabricator, i was a injection mould toolmaker for 7 years so i have a good engineering back ground. If that fails, i'll do anything cant wait for the training.

Handed my forms in last friday, think it will be a while as there is only one guy in the careers office in the whole of Germany. Worried about the medical people abit did they give you any problems at all. Gotta go bash out some sit ups
