It's probably more productive for you to compare your times to your own previous times (if that makes sense) rather than other people, ie time yourself best effort over a set distance once a week on the same day, and that way you will be able to see if the fitness work ...

That's better conditions than I live in at home! I think maybe the rooms shown were a little too nice, but still i think improving living conditions is money well spent, living in uncomfortable, ugly, accomodation is depressing.

Kids not knowing it is one thing, but considering most of the people in that survey were over 18, it is incredible, i genuinely find it difficult to believe. I find it hard to believe it was a fair test, they must of intentionally trawled the streets looking for the stupidest individuls they could ...

you'll probably get a better time on a track than a treadmill. I never go as fast as i should on one because of the fear of falling over and looking an arse/ being seriously injured.

Just ignore it, it'll go away eventually.
Or maybe it would be possible to convince al-qaeda to make it their next target, as symbol of western decadence or something?[/b]

Did 4 of these last night, the first two seemed easy but then it started getting VERY tough. But after the fourth set one of the instructors came over and had a go at me, because I was going too fast or bending over / leaning back too much. I don't know about that, it felt okay to me!
I had ...

interesting video, with glow sticks, quad bikes, very artistic camo paint and one guy carrying the largest rifle i've ever seen!
I don't speak French so i don't know what's going on in most of the video, but it appears to be an excercise, somewhere in Africa i think.

There have been a few occasions of coalition troops using enemy rifles in Iraq during battle, but if you still had ammunition why would you want to?
