Thanks..you dont want to now how much i have been worrying about the 10 miler, i have been jumping straight into the deep end. I can do 50 press ups in around one minute, they are no problem. No to pracice the 3 miler.
Any tips for when running?

He also wonders what fitness targets are required, for example how far in miles do you need to be able to run etc.

OK so a friend of mine is very skinny, hes thinking about using steroids to gain weight in order to apply for the parachute regiment. Hes tried everything else, working out with a high protein diet, but nothing. Hes seriously pissed off and cant even gain body fat..this is the only other option.

Totally agree, i found myself looking at the ground not thinking about my body, just daydreaming about things and wham....twenty minutes past.
If you take your mind off the pain and concentrate on other thoguhts time will fly....MAKE SURE YOURE LOOKING WHERE YOUR GOING THOUGH.

It gets to a point where you keep running, but seems like you haven't moved at all. However i still managed to run 8 miles up to Birmingham.

I phoned up and told them i couldnt make it....the bloke was very helpful and said dont worry. I told him i still was going to join, and he said if i wanted any info just phone him again......simple as that.
