Completely, utterly, and absurdly pear-shaped. I'd place money on it.

Call up and ask them. :) Use a pseudo-name if you want. I'm sure they'd be helpful.

If not, google for it - http://www.google.co.uk

Oh, and welcome to MF.

I spent a week at Raleigh in the SCC, so I can't really comment on basic, but the facilities are pretty key. The pits are comfy, and there's facilities to do all the washing/ironing/bulling you need in each block. As the RN site'll tell you, you won't leave your block without an instructor or ...

Yes... yes they would. Why? Because the government are a bunch of bastards, and they'll scrap all non-essential stuff from the forces, just so they can pay for more pen-pushers in Whitehall to support their draining education and healthcare reforms. Not to mention all the money they wasted with that ...

Hayfever

I don't know if anyone here knows the answer. I suffer from seasonal hayfever, pretty much get it for June/July and it fades away after that. Do the RN still recruit people with hayfever? I know its pretty much a restriction in the Army, and perhaps even for the RAF - but how about the RN?

What ...

Or....

...you could just use the resourcefulness you really need if you EVER want to pursue a career in MI6 (or SIS as it is now known) and goto the website of their superior organisation. The FCO.

I also need to check with the doctor that it definately has been four years - i.e. get the dates so that i dont make a fool of myself on the application if I'm wrong.

Cheers mateys.
