Just one on that i do believe he is LFSP but the squadron is mainly made up of fat matlows and bootneck drivers. There is a force protection troop but he isnt a part of that set up. Not come across him myself yet to be honest.

I have also just recently finished this book and was equally unimpressed. It was quite interesting to read about setting up Sangin DC having being there myself in Oct 06. It seems like the place changed so much in a number of months. I was especially shocked at the dit about buying mangoes from the ...

Yeh it could be, to be honest i don't know the official line on it but i know the old threat of 'you lose or break it and you'll have to pay' comes out a lot from TQ! Yet to see the threat carried out though yet. And lets face it there not going to have someone on my lowly wages paying 10 pounds per ...

I'm pretty sure if i was to break something in a firefight or just otherwise it would just be operationally wrote off and i would not get any blame. I wouldn't worry about it too much, the corps aren't there to see you off even though it can sometime seem that way! They do look after you normally ...

It got even better for me as when i got back i put in a claim for my ipod and two cameras that broke during my tour only to find out that i was not covered as i was in a warzone. Cheers PAX, really glad i got military kit insurance cover. You can actually claim 85 quid back from the corps for the ...

I can't really understand why the cinema advert does not use footage from Afghanistan or even made up footage of a similar scenario instead of using the jungle. I think it would be a lot more relevant for the current situation and i know some of the footage i have shown my mates has pretty much made ...

Hey there strangers

I'm at the mighty 42 and I'm not too sure what I'm doing next week! I wouldnt worry too much about it. It's bound to be good as the corps would never see you off! :o
