I passed out of Halton a few weeks back now and i'll tell you what most people have told you. Look at your your attitude before you start GDT with the rocks (providing you get that far) as they don't take any cockyness or sh*t.

Enough Said on that

I'm on GDT phase at the min. Just finished and passed all first aid. Got rifle week next week including aggression day :evil: then it's onto to CPT (4 day exercise). Cant wait to get into blue phase, just the day 51 inspection to pass now.

Back for my first weekend off and the end of phase 1. Start GDT on Monday and can't wait.

Halton is not hard and isn't easy. Just do as you're told and give 110% effort in everything especially PT.

Our intake has seen quite a few people leave already, a lot for medical reasons.

i had my medical last august and got my provsional date through in February. It is a slow process, but stick at it. It's worth it in the end

Well i'm off to Halton on wednesday fot RT.

I haven't really posted much here but have found all the information brilliant.

I'll try and keep you all updated but, there are plenty of posts about what goes on down there. I think Dookie is on the same course as me, and we're going for ASOP.

Got a Problem

I'm due to start my recruit training at halton on may 18th, but i have a medium sized verucca on my foot that will not go away. Is there any way i can get rid of it before seeing the GP?

If i were to go to halton with it, what would they say on the medical?

I am also going in for this trade.

Since my medical/interview, i have heard nothing until i rang my afco last month. The cpl then got hold of the MOD who said that there is a queue of 25 waiting for this trade, and i myself am number 17 :-? , however i should have progressed further by now as i had ...

The interview isn't that bad, they just ask you about yourself, family background, education, etc... and then WHY you chose that trade and what you know about it. I was asked about the trade training for ASOP which ...

i started my application in easter and did my ast in june. Since then i've been deciding for my trade and chose that one. Had to get a maths gcse waiver but this was done in about 3 days. just waiting for my security clearence and provisional date.

waiting for halton date

Just had my medical and interview hich i passed and i'm waiting for my date into halton now.

I was quite lucky that my application was so quick as i am going as an aerospace systems operator.

Anyone else going into this trade??
