I start my Nurse training (Adult) in Plymouth, Jan 05 as well.

I had a look at both options,joining the Ta or getting sponsored, for me the better of the two options, was joining the Ta.

Thats great news, in that case, you do not need to put anything down on the part that says Asthma or chest complaints because you have non.

They normally only check with your GP, if you put down on the form that you have had a problem in the past.

I served 4 months as the Medic on one of the RFA vessels,while serving in the RN.
The working life onboard RFA vessels are a lot more relaxed,single or two man cabins,no mess decks, rounds or Inspections are not done every day, bigger bars,cheap booze,no having to wear ...

We did the Pre course beat up, then if we passed moved onto the Medical Assistant commando course.

The MACC and the AACC are two seperate courses,we all tried, as you would do, to get onto the AACC as it was shorter, but not that does not mean its any easier,its full on from day one ...

Chefs and Medics,the only one's really trained to kill in the Navy !!!!.
As a medic I was part of the S&S branch mess onboard,so I saw a few sights in my time,they say stokers messes are bad !!!
