It'll slow it down until it stops. :(

Basically, the doctor needs to put in a request to some central NHS location where they keep a copy of your medical records. Until they arrive from there, they won't even let you do the 1st Interview. (If they do, they certainly can't put you forward till the ...

There's no point applying. You'll fail anyway and you know it!

Not me, I'm a stubborn bastard! I went for another update meeting yesterday, I had thought it was going to lead straight onto my second Interview, but that never happened.

Still, they confirmed all the paperwork is sorted, the ...

I feel a lot better now that I know it's para training he's going through. :)

Like everyone else I have those days when I'm convinced I'll stomp through basic without any problems, determination enough.. Then those days when all your training goes horrid, it's raining outside for the fourth day ...

You buggers are scaring me now!

I've got my second interview on the 9th July, and I don't know how long it takes to get through RSC etc, but I figure if I'm lucky I'll make the August 15th intake.

Doesn't sound like I'll do so well if Mal was already about ten times fitter than me, and seems to be ...

Hurrah!

Well, things have changed now. I was feeling pretty glum, going to yet another update interview. My application started in December, so various things have been holding it up for a long time.

However, the portsmouth office played a blinding game, and got in touch with the signals personnal staff ...

I've had a think about it and have decided that as the requirements are now five GCSEs, I'm going to find a local college that'll let me take a science related GCSE, and go and get it sorted out, putting my application on hold until I get the qualifications.

I _will_ get into intelligence, and no ...

My medical records have turned up!

I'm so happy I'm ready to burst, and just had to talk to some people who'd understand how frustrating it was. :)

Back in 2000, I joined a doctors in London, which has since shut down. I've been kept waiting for over three and a half months for my medical records to surface, and they only did due to ...

Re: Intelligence questions.

I do indeed! I figure it's going to be hard, but trying not to sound really arrogant (and failing), I think I'm pretty intelligent and can realistically achieve it.

I'm not good with languages ...

Intelligence questions.

Hi there,

I recently decided on a fairly drastic career change away from computing, and put in an application at my local center a couple of weeks ago. I just sat my BARB yesterday, and despite feeling I did poorly due to tiredness (I work night shifts so it's tough to adjust to mornings quickly ...
