sort of, the guy said that it was more likely to be september. Which i'd prefer anyway, get some of my studying out the way. he said that due to the security-cos i've moved around a fair bit- will take ages. which are you going for as your 1st choice- weapons air or marine? I want to do weapons ...

okay sorry, was told by local office as that was what I was applying for. now hoping for weapons though as that was my 2nd choice anyway.

hope it went well. I'm awaiting date for run and then security which I have been warned takes forever..... which is fine as I'm still studying and don't finish my second year till september!

I was told not to wear my contacts for just 2 days prior to test. wore my glasses in test and the doc didn't test without as I told him I was a blind little bat. Still passed for a tiff though. :P

when you say different.... what exactly does that mean?? better/ worse. And how many tests do you have in the extra two weeks... and don't say 14 one for every day.... that would not be amusing. :cry:

The blurb I got about the fitness from the recruiter said nowt about any squat thrusts!!! I asked him and he said that as far as he was aware there was no set guidelines. Is he talking s*@t or not? P.s if not then what is the number for females??

Sadly the air artificer no longer exists, now just mechanic. something about RAF getting involved so cutbacks gonna be made.

security clearance

Hi to all, I've passed the medical and the interview for tiff and now awaiting security clearance. Any idea how long that takes? And what about credit check??? I'm a bit worried, got a few grand debts owing, does anyone know if that'll be a problem??

Anyone else out there applying to be a tiff??
I just took my tests, the re was a bastard! I would like to know what kind of questions they ask for the interview which I've got next thurs. Are they general or specific engineering ques? Help!!!!

eyesight testing

Hi, hope someone out there can help me, I'm worried about the eyesight test as mine is real bad, was wondering if anyone knows the min. standard that I can get by with?? Thanks if you can help!! :D
