I jus got back from Afghan and we didnt stag on any gate once. We were providing a QRF, Mortars on call and patrolling about 12 diff villages like 15 miles out of the front gate day and night. We were doing 18km (Outisde the wire) foot patrols with GPMGs etc. We didnt stag on once... We spent a week ...

Lo all, basically, got back from a tour of Afghan based at Kandahar Air Field. Im currently serving with 34 Squadron RAF Regiment. Lol. LF1 Kicks ass :) Also, the Queens Head was always good when youre in a small group. Best night out I had in basics was in Ipswich. Thats an amazing place for birds and clubbing :) Have fun

ahh the days

Did my PGAC back in Jan. Passed out in July, posted to 34 sqdn. Been to Belize (4 weeks), Mexico (4 nights), Canada (1 night) and America (1 night). Also done riot training other stuff :) Moff to Iraq in under a month.

bootneck, to be honest the PGAC can never represent what its like in training. The fieldcrafts are hard (sleep deprivation sucks). You will get beasted obviously but its all part of the training. You'l get shouted at, personally insulted and kit thrown left right and centre. This ...
