Im have just joined the TA for the time been while I am at college and I eventully want to join the Paras.
Can any of you lot tell me that when I decide to join the Paras will I have to go through all the basic training even though I would have done it with the TA?

Do you have to be a TA Para to do TA p-coy or can Infantry soldiers from other TA units apply, cos Im in the TA but not Para. I would like to give it a shot if i could and how would I apply.

I have just got back from Royal marines look at life course and we did the assault course.
The max time limit is 5minutes which anyone should be able to do I done it in 4.53 which was regarded as crap. Its a best effort thing

you can join the Paras from the AFC, my cousin did.
